Meath County Council

Meath County Council is the authority responsible for local government in County Meath. The day of this Encore Conference brings Meath County Council one day short of when we started our SDG journey. On the 5th anniversary of the goals, the 25th September 2020, we included the Sustainable Development Goals under the remit of the Climate Action Team, to create an SDG culture and align the goals with our activities. Talking about climate through the SDGs creates a more inclusive narrative and ensures nobody get left behind. These videos outline just some of our work and leadership in climate action and the SDGs and as Ireland’s first EU Climate Pact Ambassador.
