Project Name: Yes We Plant

Is it a crazy gamble to want to plant 4,000 km of hedges or 1 million trees before the end of the legislature? Yet this is the objective set by the Walloon Government for citizens, associations, farmers, companies, schools and public organisations. Hundreds of participants have already decided to commit themselves to saving biodiversity in Wallonia. Wallonia supports the planting of living hedges, linear coppices and tree alignments. The maintenance of pollarded trees and the planting of fruit trees are also subsidised.
